Overview
Apex Custom Floors is committed to providing quality flooring materials, professional installation services, and clear communication throughout every project. Because many products are special-order materials and installation services are scheduled in advance, our refund and return policies differ from those of traditional retail stores.
Flooring Materials
Stock flooring materials that have not been installed, opened, damaged, or specially ordered may be eligible for return, subject to manufacturer and distributor approval.
Returns may be subject to:
- Manufacturer return policies
- Distributor restocking fees
- Return freight or shipping charges
- Inspection prior to approval
Custom orders, discontinued products, special-order materials, clearance items, and products cut to size are non-refundable.
All approved material returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
Installation Services
Labor, installation, demolition, floor preparation, custom tile work, shower construction, and completed services are non-refundable once work has been performed.
Any workmanship concerns should be reported promptly so they can be evaluated under our workmanship warranty.
Deposits
Deposits are used to secure scheduling, order materials, reserve labor, and prepare for project execution.
Deposits become non-refundable once:
- Materials have been ordered
- Scheduling has been confirmed
- Project preparation has begun
- Installation work has started
Cancellations
Customers wishing to cancel a project should notify Apex Custom Floors as soon as possible.
Projects canceled before materials are ordered and before scheduling commitments are made may qualify for a partial or full refund of the deposit.
Projects canceled after materials have been ordered or labor has been scheduled may be subject to material costs, restocking fees, and administrative expenses.
Damaged or Defective Materials
If materials arrive damaged or defective, please notify Apex Custom Floors immediately.
We will work directly with the manufacturer and distributor to determine the appropriate replacement, repair, or warranty solution.
Damaged materials should not be installed until the issue has been reviewed.
Manufacturer Warranties
Many flooring products sold or installed by Apex Custom Floors include manufacturer warranties.
Manufacturer warranties vary by product and are administered according to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
Warranty claims involving product defects may require photographs, inspections, product samples, or manufacturer review.
Workmanship Warranty
Apex Custom Floors provides a one-year workmanship warranty covering installation defects resulting directly from our labor.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Abuse or neglect
- Water damage from plumbing, flooding, or weather events
- Structural movement
- Improper maintenance
- Manufacturer product defects
